SEAS GIVEN AS SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT, WHICH IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES. INDIVIDUAL WAVES MAY BE MORE THAN TWICE THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS... A HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL BUILD E INTO THE WATERS S OF THE AREA TONIGHT THROUGH SUN NIGHT. A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM THE NW SAT, MOVE SE ACROSS THE WATERS SAT NIGHT, THEN PASS S OF THE AREA SUN AND SUN NIGHT WHILE WEAKENING. ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL MOVE S, AND REACH THE N WATERS SUN NIGHT, THEN STALL AND WEAKEN MON. A WARM FRONT WILL APPROACH THE AREA FROM THE SW MON NIGHT, THEN PASS NE OVER THE WATERS TUE INTO TUE NIGHT. ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL MOVE E ACROSS THE AREA LATE TUE AND TUE NIGHT. A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL MOVE E ACROSS THE REGION WED AND WED NIGHT.
