SEAS GIVEN AS SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT...WHICH IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES. INDIVIDUAL WAVES MAY BE MORE THAN TWICE THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS... A WEAK HIGH PRES RIDGE OVER THE WATERS WILL WEAKEN TONIGHT. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SE AND APPROACH THE COAST LATE SAT AND SAT NIGHT...THEN MOVE SLOWLY SE ACROSS THE WATERS SUN AND SUN NIGHT. THE FRONT WILL THEN BECOME STATIONARY S OF THE AREA MON AND MON NIGHT. AN AREA OF LOW PRES WILL FORM ON THE FRONT TUE AND PASS S AND SE OF THE WATERS TUE NIGHT INTO WED NIGHT. STRONG HIGH PRES WILL BUILD OVER THE WATERS BEHIND THE FRONT SUN NIGHT THROUGH MON NIGHT...THEN MOVE E OF THE WATERS WHILE MAINTAINING A SLOWLY WEAKENING RIDGE W ACROSS THE WATERS TUE INTO WED NIGHT.
