Temperature Conversion Calculator
Degrees Fahrenheit, (developed in the early 1700's by G. Daniel Fahrenheit), are used to record surface temperature measurements by meteorologists in the United States. Most of the rest of the world uses degrees Celsius.
The conversion formula is
0C=(0F-32) / 1.8
Kelvin is another unit of temperature often used for scientific calculations, since it begins at absolute zero and therefore has no negative numbers. (The word "degrees" is not used with Kelvin.)
The conversion formula is
K=0C+273.
